Since the earliest days of the pandemic, we worked with clients in essential industries to minimize potential impacts on their operations while safeguarding the health of employees and contractors.

Our attorneys advised clients in connection with some of the most stringent regulatory programs in the United States, including California's COVID-19 Prevention Emergency Temporary Standards. We helped clients navigate what were novel legal issues around employee testing, contact tracing, outbreak reporting and mitigation, and the requirement for an employer-specific written COVID-19 Prevention Program. The firm supported clients in their response to COVID inspections by Cal/OSHA and county health departments under county safety orders.

We also worked with clients on COVID-related issues at the federal level. We advised clients on the new federal guidance and continue to track federal efforts toward a temporary standard.
